Two distinctly opposite colorways were created for this brooch to illustrate the polarity of the hero- one in black hematite and one in clear crystal. I chose to color these in red and blue to illustrate the polarizing sides of the emotional spectrum- fire and water. The journey of the alchemist is truly the journey of the magician, who, in learning how to master the elements around them, are able to create whatever they want.
